When card tables and slot machines don’t take up the entire itinerary in your Las Vegas trip, the Grand Canyon is often on the agenda. While thousands visit the rim every day, few reach the bottom because of the often grueling trails that must be crossed.
Maverick Helicopters makes the journey as easy as sitting back in one of their luxurious helicopters with the Wind Dancer tour. You will take part in a roundtrip journey that begins at your hotel and includes a champagne toast at the bottom of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
Guests will fly from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon where they will descend 3,500 feet to the canyon floor for champagne and light snacks before they climb back into the helicopter and finish the four-hour tour with views of the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Strip.

Our Review
Google Maps offers up some tremendous views of the Grand Canyon and those bus tours to the rim have their perks too, but a helicopter journey to the bottom is something that makes dreams come true.
The Wind Dancer tour through Maverick Helicopters is something usually experienced vicariously through actors and actresses but you can play like the elite and celebrate with a champagne toast at the bottom of the canyon.
Maverick Helicopters picks you up at your hotel (in a car) and transports you to where your chariot awaits, McCarran Airport. Once your helicopter takes off you’ll be able to see all of the highlights the area has to offer from the Las Vegas Strip to Lake Mead and Hoover Dam.
After 4.5 hours and full memory card on your camera, the experience will be worth more than the price of admission.

Important Policy Information
All passengers must have Photo ID at check-in.
We ask that all reservations be reconfirmed 24 hours prior to departure by calling 702.405.4300 or 800.962.3869.
Passengers’ weight MUST be provided at time of reservation.
Guests must contact Maverick and reconfirm their tours once in Las Vegas. Additional information must be provided to Maverick Helicopters: Resort, room number, contact number, body weights, (if not provided at time of booking).
PASSENGER RESTRICTIONS:
ECO-Star helicopter weight limit per person: 300 lbs.
Passengers over this limit will be required to buy a second seat.
If a guest’s actual weight and the weight previously reported on the reservation differ significantly, that passenger may be bumped from the flight without reimbursement in order to adjust for the safety of all other passengers. If we can accommodate this guest on a different helicopter we will move their reservation for no additional cost.
