Bali Hai is a tropical golfer’s paradise, highlighted by seven acres of water features, a signature island green, more than 4,000 trees (including 2,500 towering palm trees) and 100,000 tropical plants and flowers, Augusta white sand and black volcanic rock. Our Review
Las Vegas and golf are an inseparable pair. So once you’ve accepted that, the next mission is to set foot on the city’s most opulent course, which, without question, is Bali Hai Golf Club.
A few details to know before you go, Bali Hai is a par-71 course, it’s holes are designed to go from charming to challenging (but you’ll have a chance to sniff a par here and there), the Strip views are top notch and finishing up with a cocktail from Cili is mandatory.
Now once you make your way out to the green (and consider getting a caddie or forecaddie, they’re very patient and helpful to the seasoned swinger and the amateur alike) don’t be surprised to catch a glimpse of your favorite actor engaging in a game. Celebrities and high-rollers frequent this spot. It is one of the top spots in the nation.
So you’ve got a sweet view of Mandalay Bay, the desert sun shining down, a clean set of clubs, an impeccably manicured course, what do you do? Start swinging and make your through the deeps slopes and surrounding fairways way to hole #16, the Island Green--it’s too good a sight to pass up. Keep going to hole 18, then grab that obligatory cocktail from Cili.
