Our Review
You’ve planned a vacation to Las Vegas and want to mix things up a bit. What should you do? Score Mob Museum tickets and spend your day in the midst of organized crime.
You won’t be taken in for finger printing or interrogation, but you will have a chance to ask questions and have them answered. A day trip at the Mob Museum gives you the lowdown on some of history’s most notorious criminals like Al Capone, Bugsy Siegel, Frank “Lefty” Rosenthal and many more. There’s a ton to see at the museum, but what you won’t want to miss is the myths of the mob. If you’ve seen the Godfather a thousand times, so you’ve developed an idea of how these mobs ran, but that’s only Hollywood’s interpretation. Here you’ll learn how much violence, deceit, and conspiracy ran these Mob operations. Right when you thought the whole experience couldn’t get any more authentic, all of the information, films, artifacts, and photos are housed in what was once a federal courthouse. But not just any courthouse, this courthouse held the Kefauver Committee hearings on organized crime on November 15, 1950. After this experience you’ll leave with more knowledge on the whole thing and a strange hankering to watch Good Fellas.
